New In: Ankle Boots

Today my ankle boots from Tamaris arrived. I'm really happy with them. They're not too high, but also not too low. I think they're perfect for the autumn season. The only thing I don't really like is the grey shoelace. Maybe I'll change it with another color (probably black). They were seventy euros, so they're quite good quality. Hope they'll last a few seasons. What do you think?

It was a really nice school day, because we just had four hours (instead of eight). These shorts are the DIY shorts, which I already showed you. But I sprayed the ends pink, because I like to have this three tone effect. What do you think? And these platforms are so comfortable. I love them, 'cause the black matches almost every outfit. By the way, I expect black ankle boots from Tamaris the next few days. I'll definitely show them to you in a "New In" post. Well, nothing else special to talk about today. How was your day?

My new room

Welcome to my new room, yay! You sure remember the mess a few days ago. It was hard work at the weekend, but I'm finally ready. Well, the white wall with the necklaces isn't and there is some stuff I need to remove (like the rubbish, haha), but it's almost done and I like it. What do you think? Any ideas for the white wall? Where's my mocha coffee?

This is what I wear today. It's super summery outside! So the sweater is a little bit to warm... The rest of the day I'll just relax in the garden and listen to music. I used my old standard lens and figured out that it works pretty well. It's different, because it's a zoom lens.  My makeup today is incidentally not usual for me. I'm really not a pro in makeup, haha. But if you are interested: The eyeliner I used is Rook by Topshop and the lipstick is number 100 Oxford Street by p2 (german brand). Wish you a happy sunday!!!

Review: Modestrecke - Unterwegs mit Les Mads

Heute mal wieder einen Post auf deutsch. Ich möchte nämlich über das Buch "Modestrecke - Unterwegs mit Les Mads" berichten, welches offensichtlich ein deutsches Buch ist. Alleine das Design hat mich sehr angesprochen. Die Illustrationen scheinen mit viel Liebe gezeichnet, sehr detailvoll und eigentlich zu schade, um zugeklappt im Bücherschrank zu liegen. Ich weiß selbst nicht, wie ich das Buch einschätzen soll. Manche nennen es einen Ratgeber, andere eine Biografie. Eins steht jedoch fest: Es sind wahre Geschichten aus dem Leben der erfolgreichen Bloggerinnen Julia Knolle und Jessica Weiss, dessen Blog ich schon lange verfolge. Ich persönlich finde, dass es ein Mix aus beiden Kategorien ist. Sie erzählen abwechselnd von Erlebnissen und geben ab und zu Tipps. Diese beinhalten sowohl Mode, Frisur als auch Städtetipps. Das Buch ist so herrlich geschrieben, sodass man das Gefühl hat, man lese ein Tagebuch. Ich bin eigentlich keine Leseratte, ich lese ehrlich gesagt sehr selten. Aber dieses Buch habe ich in zwei Tagen verschlungen. Dadurch, dass die Kapitel kurz (ca. zwei bis fünf Seiten) gehalten sind, hat man immer wieder ein neues Thema parat und es wird nie langweilig. Insgesamt bin ich wirklich begeistert von diesem Buch. Bei amazon habe ich viel negative Kritik gelesen, diese kann ich jedoch nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Man erwartet wohl, es handelt sich hier um ein "Wie wird mein Blog so erfolgreich wie Les Mads" Buch. Aber davon ist hier nicht die Rede. Ich liebe dieses Buch, es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und ich wünschte, es hätte mehr Seiten gehabt. Ich spreche hier eine absolute Kaufempfehlung an all die Modeinteressierten aus :)

I love this song from "Foster the People". I heard it in Fifa 12 Demo, which my brother plays every free hour. He can't wait to get the full version, haha. I have to admit that Fifa has some super cool music. Lots on my iPod I have from the game.

Well, my outfit is really simple today. But I like my new pants by h&m. They're really comfortable and I wanted a high waisted pants for ages! What do you think of high waisted pants?

Omg, what a mess!

Hey everyone! Well, this is how my room looks at the moment. It's a horrible mess, because I'll change it a little bit. I have some new ideas, hope that all will work. Right now my clothes lie everywhere. I can't find anything, haha. But I think next week it should be ready to live in.
 And if that's the case, I'll show you my new room :)

Review: Curlformers

Do you know them? Did you hear about these things? I'm talking about Curlformers! Curlformers are a new way to curl your hair without heat and damage. It's been three months since I own them. I don't use them so often, but I don't regret the sixty dollars. I'm not getting paid to recommend them. This is my own opinion about them.

Curlformers come in  a set of forty Formers in two different colors and two hooks. But you can also get other sets with other sizes and colors. Click here to see all their products.
My father didn't understand the price. He said "Why do you spend so much money for plastic?" Haha, well... I think it is not a cheap plastic. I'm not good in chemical fabrics, but it's definetly a qualitative hard plastic. You can stretch the Curlformer as much as you can: They won't loose their structure!

How do I use these things? It's super easy. I've watched a few tutorials on YouTube before I got them. So you just take a Curlformer and push it into the hook. Then you place the hook on a section of (damp) hair and slice it trough the Curlformer. I'm not very good at describing this. I recommend to watch some Video Tutorials :)

I took some pictures a while ago. These show the result after one night.
But I wouldn't say it's comfortable to sleep in them. Well, to be honest: It's horrible. The good thing about Curlformers is, that they just need about two hours to "dry". You can read a good book, relax, do homework... As you can tell by the picture below, the result is really good. Perfect curls. And if you don't like them so ringly, you could brush the curls or whatever.

The curls hold super long. I never had curls that hold the whole day. These do! And the second day you have nice waves. Extra plus: You don't use any heat products and achieve less damage, but a beautiful result. I made the curls for the celebration of my mother's master and everyone asked me about my curls.

New In: All ★ Star

I am very happy to be finally an owner of these shoes. I wanted them for ages, but somehow I've always bought other shoes. I opted for the pink ones. I think it's a great color, even if it is more summery. They are perfect for city trips or for a long school day. And guess how much I paid for it ... drum roll ... nothing! I have swapped in kleiderkreisel.de with my floral dress. But I think the shoes are in a top condition, like new. What a bargain! I'm off to the city now. I desperately need a new pair of skinny jeans. I wish you all a nice saturday!
