MIDNIGHT POST

Today (or should I write in the middle of the night haha) I wanted to make a post about one of my favorite beauty topics: hair. I am one of those girls who could talk about hair for hours and hours without getting bored. I plan on making a little hair post soon where I talk about my hair history, care and color. But this post is about pastel colored hair. Since I've seen girls on tumblr wearing their high waisted vintage shorts with crop band tees, platforms and pastel pink, turquoise or lilac hair I am obsessed with the look of it. When I was a bit younger I always thought only "emos" have colorful hair and I guess that a lot of people still do. I think there is something special and different about pastel hair. It's quite girly, but at the same time it's the opposite of it. I don't know whether I could pull it off, but omg if I would be brave enough I would definetly go for it. But I heard a lot negative things about it too: It fades extremly quickly and of course your hair has to get bleached before which causes extreme damage. But well... a girl can dream. I think I'm going to color the ends (the blonde dip dye hair) pink soon :) What is your opinion on pastel pink/lilac hair? Would you go for it or did you already?

    It's so cute but not many people are brave enough to try it! Haha I was going to recommend doing your tips but I see you're already considering that. I think it would look very cute!

    I love pastel hair on others and I would love to have the courage to go pastel myself but
    my family, neighbourhood, school and the people I know are way too conservative to accept
    something like that. I know, you should not only do what others expect you to, but for me
    personally it's hard to cope with nasty comments or glances.
    Colouring your tips sounds like a perfect idea to me though. One probably shouldn't always
    go extreme immediately, right? :)

    This is really nice only a few people can pull it off I'm definitely not one of them, but it looks really nice. I think dying your ends red or lilac is really cool, I know someone who did that, and it looked great on her.

    I would love to have pastel pink or lilac hair but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't fit me :S But I'm thinking about dying my ends blond and then maybe I will try pastel pink or blue :D

    ich hab meine Haarspitzen bereits pink gefärbt. Muss sie jede zweite Woche ungefähr nach färben und meine Haare sind extremst kaputt, da ich jetzt total helle Haare habe, obwohl ich eher ein dunklerer Haartyp bin! Und ich höre z.Z. von so vielen Leuten, dass sie sich ihre Haare pink färben wollen!

    I'm so much in love with pastell hair, too, but as a brunette, it'll be a unachieveable dream. What a pity, bleaching causes damage :/
