Do it yourself: Dip Dyed shorts

Hey everyone! Today I made something, which I wanted to do for a long time. I dip dyed a pair of shorts. The shorts were actually my moms old jeans. I did cut them into high waisted shorts. I think we all know how to do this. And then I bleached the ends, like my hair :) Enjoy reading my first tutorial. If you like, just do it and have fun!
So this is all you'll need: A pair of jeans shorts, a big plastic bowl, a bleacher (I found this cleanser in our basement. It whitens the clothes, but it also works as a bleacher for jeans fabric) and a bit water. Please ignore the pink color! I tried to make the ends pink, but it didn't work well, because the bleacher "burned" the color.
Now take the bowl and fill it up with the bleacher. I didn't measure it. You can add water to attenuate the aggressive bleacher. But less bleacher equals less brightening. Now you just put the shorts in the bowl. Make sure you wear gloves! Dip it in how much you want to bleach. Then you should leave it at least for one hour.
After two hours it looked like this. The water with the bleacher was green.
Put it in the washing machine for thirty minutes.
Now you should dry it in the sun. And when it is dry, you have your own dip dyed shorts!
If you want, you can color the ends in a color of your choice. Maybe I'll do this (in the correct way) the next days with pink fabric color. I'm so excited to wear them out ;)

Love, Sophia
